About Us

We Can Read Too is a community-centered organization serving children, adults, and families throughout Tarboro and Edgecombe County. We provide affordable literacy programs, educational workshops, mentoring, supervised recreation, and sensory-friendly activities in a safe and inclusive environment.

Our programs support people of all abilities, including neurodivergent learners and individuals with autism or sensory-processing differences. Through creative, culturally responsive activities, we help participants strengthen literacy skills, build confidence, develop positive relationships, and experience a sense of belonging.
